- Breadboard compatible: Designed to plug directly into compatible standard solderless breadboards.
- External power outputs: Provides additional 3.3V and 5V output connections for external circuits.
- 65 jumper wires: Includes assorted lengths for flexible breadboard connections.
- Suitable for learning: Ideal for electronics education, Arduino experiments, and rapid prototyping.
Principle of Operation
The breadboard power supply module receives power from either an external DC source or a USB 5V source. When using the barrel connector, the supported input voltage is 6.5V–12V DC. The module regulates the input to provide selectable 3.3V or 5V power to the connected breadboard rails.

The two rail-selection jumpers allow the upper and lower power rails to be configured independently. Each rail can be set to 3.3V, OFF, or 5V, allowing circuits with different supply requirements to be powered from the same breadboard.
The solderless breadboard provides interconnected contact points for assembling circuits without soldering. The included jumper wires are used to connect components, modules, microcontrollers, and breadboard power rails.
Applications
- Arduino circuit prototyping
- Raspberry Pi electronics projects
- Microcontroller development
- Electronics education and laboratory experiments
- Sensor and module testing
- LED and display projects
- Digital and analog circuit prototyping
- Rapid circuit development without soldering
- DIY electronics projects
- STEM and maker projects
Pinout
The power supply module provides multiple connections for supplying 3.3V and 5V power to the breadboard and external circuits.

| Connector / Control | Function |
|---|---|
| 5mm DC Barrel Connector | 6.5V–12V DC input, center-positive |
| USB Connector | 5V input or 5V output, depending on module configuration |
| Rail Selector 1 | Upper rail: 3.3V / OFF / 5V |
| Rail Selector 2 | Lower rail: 3.3V / OFF / 5V |
| 2-Pin Output Headers | 3.3V or 5V power output connections |
| 2×4 Header | Additional 3.3V and 5V output connections |
Connections
Insert the breadboard power supply module into the power-rail section of a compatible solderless breadboard. Connect a suitable 6.5V–12V DC supply through the barrel connector, or provide 5V through the USB input.

Set each rail selector to the required voltage before powering the circuit. The upper and lower rails can be configured independently as 3.3V, OFF, or 5V. Use the included jumper wires to connect the power rails to sensors, modules, integrated circuits, LEDs, and other components.
