Breadboard Power Supply Kit 3.3V/5V For Arduino

The Breadboard Power Supply Kit 3.3V/5V is a practical electronics prototyping kit designed for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other development-board projects. It combines a solderless breadboard, a set of 65 assorted jumper wires, and a breadboard power supply module capable of providing selectable 3.3V or 5V power to the breadboard rails.

The power supply module supports input from either a 6.5V–12V DC power source through its barrel connector or a 5V USB power source. Independent selectors allow the upper and lower breadboard power rails to be configured for 3.3V, OFF, or 5V, making the kit convenient for prototyping circuits that use different logic and supply voltages.

Principle of Operation

The breadboard power supply module receives power from either an external DC source or a USB 5V source. When using the barrel connector, the supported input voltage is 6.5V–12V DC. The module regulates the input to provide selectable 3.3V or 5V power to the connected breadboard rails.

The two rail-selection jumpers allow the upper and lower power rails to be configured independently. Each rail can be set to 3.3V, OFF, or 5V, allowing circuits with different supply requirements to be powered from the same breadboard.

The solderless breadboard provides interconnected contact points for assembling circuits without soldering. The included jumper wires are used to connect components, modules, microcontrollers, and breadboard power rails.

Applications

  • Arduino circuit prototyping
  • Raspberry Pi electronics projects
  • Microcontroller development
  • Electronics education and laboratory experiments
  • Sensor and module testing
  • LED and display projects
  • Digital and analog circuit prototyping
  • Rapid circuit development without soldering
  • DIY electronics projects
  • STEM and maker projects
