The WRTnode2P operates as a Linux-based embedded system. The MT7628AN system-on-chip runs an embedded Linux distribution stored in onboard SPI flash memory. The processor manages networking, GPIO control, and peripheral communication while the integrated WiFi subsystem provides wireless connectivity in access point or station mode. Developers interact with the board through Linux tools, enabling rapid development of IoT gateways, routers, and smart devices.
