The Fingerprint Module with TTL Serial Communication is a compact and powerful fingerprint scanner designed for easy integration into electronic projects. It operates at three point three volt TTL logic and communicates using a TTL serial interface. When used with five volt systems such as Arduino Uno a logic level converter or resistor divider is required.

 Principle of Operation

The module captures a fingerprint image using its optical sensor. The onboard processor converts the image into a digital template and stores it in internal memory. During verification or identification the captured fingerprint is compared against stored templates.

All image processing feature extraction and matching are handled internally by the module ensuring fast and accurate results while reducing the load on the host system.
