It supports dual-band GSM GPRS networks and enables SMS messaging, voice calls, and GPRS data transmission over the internet. The compact PCB design and optimized power management enable low-power operation, with a sleep current reduced to a few milliamps. Communication with a microcontroller is handled through a UART serial interface, supporting standard GSM 07.07, GSM 07.05, and AiThinker extended AT commands, making it suitable for development, testing, and integration into custom projects.
