How to Install a Hard Drive into the Enclosure:

  1. Remove any brackets or screws from the hard drive if not done already.
  2. Open the enclosure by unlocking the switch and sliding open the end. Insert the hard drive carefully, ensuring the SATA port is correctly oriented.
  3. Attach the enclosure to your PC or laptop using the included USB cable.
  4. If the disk is from a Windows system, it may automatically appear in Windows File Explorer. You can copy files to it or format it as needed. For compatibility with other devices, consider formatting the drive as exFAT.
  5. If the drive does not appear, open Disk Management from the Start menu. Locate the unallocated space or disk without a drive letter, right-click to format, and assign a drive letter. To remove unwanted system partitions, right-click and select "Delete Volume."
