Tilt High Sensitive Vibration Sensor Module SW-18010P

This vibration sensor module is ideal for a variety of applications, including vibration-triggered alarms, anti-theft systems, smart cars, and electronic building blocks. Please note that this module triggers for a very short time upon sensing a significant shock, which may not be sufficient to directly drive a relay. While some sources suggest direct relay connection, practical application has shown this to be ineffective.

Features:

  • Utilizes the company's high-sensitivity vibration switch, SW-18010P, as the default vibration sensor.
  • The comparator output signals are clean, have a good waveform, and offer strong driving capability (over 15mA).
  • Operates with a working voltage of 3.3V-5V.
  • The output is a digital switching output (0 and 1).
  • Features a fixed bolt hole for easy installation.
  • The small PCB board size is 3.2cm x 1.4cm.
  • Employs a wide voltage comparator, LM393.

Pinout

  • VCC: Connect to the positive power supply.
  • GND: Connect to the negative power supply.
  • DO: This is the digital signal output.
  • AO: This function is invalid with this shock sensor.

How the Module Works:

  • When the product is not experiencing shock, the vibration switch is in an OFF state, resulting in a high output, and the green indicator light will not illuminate.
  • When the product experiences a shock, the vibration switch instantly turns on, leading to a low output, and the green indicator light will illuminate.
  • The output can be directly connected to a microcontroller. The microcontroller can then detect high and low signals to determine if there is vibration in the environment.
