Features:

  • USB to Parallel Printer Port: Supports USB to parallel printer conversion, compatible with both EPP and MEM parallel ports.
  • USB to UART, I2C, SPI Interfaces: Enables communication through UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces. Signal level and voltage (3.3V or 5V) are selectable via jumpers.
  • Status Indicator Lights: Features clear status indicator LEDs for UART (D2 - blue) and SPI/I2C (D1 - red) to show active communication modes.
  • Compact Hardware: Small 45 x 27 mm PCB size, making it ideal for embedded and compact applications.

Pinout:

  • UART Interface: VCC, RXD, TXD, GND
  • I2C Interface: VCC, SDA, SCL, GND
  • SPI Interface: MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS2, CS1, CS0, GND, VCC
  • Parallel Printer and EPP/MEM Port: 10P 2.54mm pin header for configurable print or EPP/MEM functionality (refer to datasheet/manual for pin mapping)

Operating Modes:

  • UART Mode: Insert jumper cap to the right of the USB port. The D2 (blue) LED lights up to indicate UART mode.
  • I2C/SPI Mode: Move jumper to the I2C/SPI setting. The D1 (red) LED illuminates to indicate active SPI/I2C communication.
  • EPP/MEM Parallel Mode: Remove jumper caps and use the SDA and SCL pins for parallel communication setup.
  • Voltage Selection: Choose between 3.3V and 5V output levels using the two jumper caps on the left side of the USB connector.
