Usage Instructions

  1. Speaker Connection: Connect two 4Ω ~ 8Ω (3W ~ 5W) speakers to the 'R_OUT' and 'L_OUT' terminals. Alternatively, audio output can be accessed via a 3.5mm audio jack.
  2. Power Supply: Apply power via the Micro USB port or directly to the '3.7-5V' pads on the PCB (as indicated by silkscreen). Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Bluetooth Mode Activation: Upon proper power supply, the blue LED indicator will illuminate continuously, signifying the module has entered Bluetooth mode.
  4. Pairing Mode: The module will broadcast an audible tone, indicating it is awaiting pairing.
  5. Device Pairing: On your mobile phone, open Bluetooth settings and search for the device named 'XY-BT'. Select 'XY-BT' to establish a connection. A successful pairing will be confirmed by another audible tone. If pairing fails, power cycle the module, turn off/on Bluetooth on your phone, and attempt re-pairing.
  6. Music Playback: Begin playing your audio!

Important Notes and Precautions

  • Automatic Reconnection: After a successful initial pairing, the module will automatically connect to the last paired device upon subsequent power-ups, eliminating the need for re-pairing.
  • Reverse Polarity Protection: This module does not feature reverse connection protection. Incorrect power supply polarity will damage the module.
  • Voltage Limits: The operating voltage range is DC 3.7V-5V. Applying an input voltage exceeding 5.5V will cause damage to the module.
  • Recommended Power Supply: A stable 5V 1A power supply is recommended. Insufficient power may lead to low speaker volume, or in severe cases, audible "tick" sounds or complete loss of sound.
  • Speaker Impedance: It is highly recommended to connect two 4Ω (3W or 5W) speakers. Connecting 2Ω speakers may cause the amplifier chip to overheat and potentially burn out.
  • Wireless Transmission: During operation, avoid placing obstacles (e.g., walls) between the mobile phone and the Bluetooth decoder board. Keep the module away from metal shielding as much as possible. Obstructions can reduce transmission distance and lead to intermittent music playback. Adjusting the angle between the module and the phone can optimize signal connection.
