Powering the Module:
You can power the module via a MICRO USB cable (5V) or use either a 5V regulated power supply or a 3.7V lithium battery.
- 5V input: Connect to 5V and GND pins
- 3.7V lithium battery: Connect to VBAT and GND
Audio Output:
Connect the audio output to a 3.5mm headphone jack or directly wire to a power amplifier input via L, R, and AGND pins.
Precautions & Warnings:
- Warning 1: Charging interface uses current-limiting without battery protection. Only use lithium batteries with protection circuits from reputable manufacturers.
- Warning 2: Default power supply is 5V. To use a 3.7V lithium battery, you must replace the onboard diode with a 0-ohm resistor or short the pad. Custom batches for 3.7V power supply are available.
- MUTE Port: Outputs 3.3V when muted, 0V during playback. Compatible with amplifier mute circuits depending on polarity.
- Signal Interference: Avoid placing the module near metal or high-frequency wireless transmitters to prevent Bluetooth signal issues.
- Noise or Static: Use thick ground wires and avoid using plug-in wires. Connect grounds between Bluetooth module and amplifier board carefully. For best results, power both boards separately.
