Features
- Size: 22 x 45 mm
- Capacitance: 100F
- Rated Voltage: 2.7V
- High pulse power capability
- Low ESR
- Low leakage current
Soldering Recommendations
When soldering Super Capacitors to a PCB, care must be taken to protect the body from heat. Excessive temperature or prolonged exposure can negatively affect performance and reduce the capacitor's lifespan.
- Do not immerse the Super Capacitor in solder; only the leads should contact the solder.
- Ensure the capacitor body does not touch molten solder, the PCB, or other components during soldering.
- Excessive temperatures or repeated temperature cycling may cause the safety vent to burst, or the case to shrink or crack, potentially damaging the PCB or other components.
Hand Soldering
- Keep the soldering iron tip away from the capacitor body; it should never touch the body directly.
- Recommended soldering iron temperature is below 350°C.
- Limit contact time to less than 4 seconds to avoid heat transfer to the capacitor body.
- Improper soldering may alter the electrical properties of the Super Capacitor or cause permanent damage.
