Pin Description
VIN Can be used as input or output. As input, supply 5V–12VDC to power Electron. As output, ~4.8VDC (max load 1A).
RST Active-low reset input with 10kΩ pull-up and 0.1µF capacitor.
VBAT Supplies RTC, backup registers, and SRAM when 3V3 not present. Can be externally powered (requires internal resistor removal).
3V3 Outputs 3.3VDC (max 800mA). Not for input power use.
WKP Active-high wakeup pin; also GPIO, ADC input, or PWM.
DAC 12-bit Digital-to-Analog output (DAC1). Also GPIO or ADC.
RX / TX UART RX/TX, also GPIO or PWM.
D0–D7 Digital GPIO; D0–D3 can be PWM outputs.
