The VL53L3CX is a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor from STMicroelectronics that utilizes the company's third-generation FlightSense technology for improved detection accuracy. It has a sensing range of 25~3000mm, and features automatic smudge correction and immunity to glass cross-talk. This sensor is capable of detecting various objects within its field of view (FoV) and determining their depth, thanks to specialized algorithms and a carefully designed module.
