The Micro Metal Gearmotor features a substantial D-shaped metal output shaft, measuring 0.365 inches (9.27 mm) in length, which perfectly aligns with Pololu's 42x19mm and 32x7mm wheels. The brass faceplate adds durability and refinement to its construction, featuring two meticulously threaded mounting holes suitable for M1.6 screws (1.6 mm diameter, 0.35 mm thread pitch). For enhanced security and gear protection, the motor can be seamlessly mounted using the included mounting bracket or extended mounting bracket, purposefully crafted to enclose the exposed gears. The extended mounting bracket is particularly recommended for wheels with recessed hubs, such as the 42x19 mm wheel, ensuring a secure and tailored fit.
