The SparkFun A111 Pulsed Radar Breakout is a high-precision sensor module that uses 60GHz pulsed coherent radar (PCR) technology for distance measurement, gesture, motion, speed, and material detection. Unlike traditional ultrasonic or infrared sensors, it provides millimeter-level accuracy up to 2 meters. The single-chip radar includes an integrated antenna and communicates via a high-speed SPI interface supporting clock speeds up to 50MHz, suitable for real-time applications.

The breakout board features an onboard 1.8V regulator and voltage-level translation, allowing operation with voltage levels from 1.8V to 5V. It breaks out all SPI pins to 0.1-inch headers and Raspberry Pi-compatible 26-pin (2x13) headers, designed to sit directly on top of a Raspberry Pi.
