Principle of Operation

The relay module works as an electrically controlled switch between the D1 Mini controller and an external load. When the D1 Mini sends a control signal, the onboard relay activates and changes the state of its contacts, allowing the microcontroller to switch devices that require higher voltage or current than the GPIO pins can provide.
