- DC-DC Battery Charger for Lithium 18650 Li-ion Charging Protection Board 5V 1A TP4056
- Power
Features:
- Single Cell Li-ion Charging: Designed for 3.7V lithium-ion batteries including 18650 cells.
- Integrated Protection Circuit: Provides overcharge, over-discharge, and over-current protection.
- Adjustable Charging Current: Charging current can be configured according to battery capacity requirements.
- Micro USB Input: Convenient charging interface compatible with standard 5V USB power sources.
- LED Charging Indicators: Red LED indicates charging status, green LED indicates fully charged condition.
- Compact Design: Small PCB size suitable for portable and space-limited applications.
- High Charging Accuracy: Provides precise constant-current and constant-voltage charging control.
Principle of Operation:
The TP4056 charger uses a constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) charging method to safely charge a single lithium-ion battery.
- Constant Current Stage: The module charges the battery with a controlled current until the battery voltage reaches approximately 4.2V.
- Constant Voltage Stage: The charger maintains 4.2V while gradually reducing charging current until the battery reaches full capacity.
- Protection Stage: The protection circuit disconnects the battery during abnormal conditions such as overcharge, over-discharge, or excessive current.
