DC-DC Voltage Regulator Adjustable Voltage Regulator LM317

The LM317 is a versatile adjustable three-terminal positive voltage regulator capable of supplying over 1.5 A with an output voltage range from 1.25 V up to 37 V. It requires only two external resistors to set the desired output voltage. This device provides excellent line regulation (typical 0.01%) and load regulation (typical 0.1%). Additional features include internal current limiting, thermal overload protection, and safe operating area protection. Importantly, overload protection remains effective even if the ADJUST terminal is disconnected.
