Principle of Operation

The PAM8610 module uses Class D switching amplification to convert the low-level stereo audio signal into a higher-power signal capable of driving external speakers. Unlike traditional Class A or Class AB amplifiers, the output transistors operate primarily as switches, significantly reducing power dissipation.

The Class D Audio Power Amplifier: A Review

The left and right audio channels are amplified independently, allowing the module to drive two speakers as a stereo system. Wiring
